Niraj Patil grew up in the harsh deserts of the Middle East. He took to the art of theivary in his youth but his career was short lived by the introduction of thirty-two page glossy books littered with vibrant illustrations of monsters, heros and busty women. Niraj started drawing as an escape from reality and soon discovered much to his delight that art was his passion.
He moved to India after high school and learnt much about art, design, independence and hygeine. Five years down the line, with a diploma in his hand, Niraj made his way back to the Middle East to showcase his talent in an emerging design field. After working with numerous clients over the period of two years, Niraj decided to further his understanding of design.
He returned to school in two thousand four for his B.F.A. and currently studies graphic design at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Niraj graduates in May 2006.
